As long as water is not leaking around the portafilter from the group head, this is totally normal. Over time, the portafilter will wear into a normal 6 o’clock position. It could take about a month or two. As long as it is making a good seal, then it is fine. In another year or so, the gasket will need to be replaced again, and may still be a little off center in the beginning.
