Learn how to drain the boiler on any Gaggia Classic, Classic Pro, or Classic Evo Pro.
Whether you are getting your Gaggia Classic ready to be shipped, stored, or ready for a boiler/seal replacement, you will want to ensure the boiler is drained. Aside from it just being good to flush the boiler once in a while, a drained boiler prevents the risk of:
- freeze and water damage in shipping
- Water quality issues during storage
- Excess water mess if replacing the boiler/seal
Failure of normal wear and tear items such as group gaskets, seals, and shower screens are not covered under warranty. Issues due to scale build-up or lack of maintenance are not covered.
