📹 Gaggia Brera: No Flow During the Rinse and Descale Cycles

Learn how to restore flow out of the spouts during the rinse and descale cycles. If you have no flow out of the spouts during rinse and descale cycles, this is due to improper internal positioning of the brew group piston.

The brew group goes through a reset cycle at the beginning of each process. If there is a buildup of coffee debris on the brew group or it is not properly lubricated, this can prevent the piston from seating, resulting in the fluid leaking into the dump box instead of out of the spouts. To resolve the issue, simply perform a deep clean and relubricate the brew group.

Associated Parts:

Failure of normal wear and tear items such as group gaskets, seals, and shower screens are not covered under warranty.  Issues due to scale build-up or lack of maintenance are not covered.

If a deep clean does not resolve the issue, this is a sign of a deeper issue and we recommend having one of our skilled technicians repair your machine. To contact our support team and get that process started, click the link below.
