The water reservoir is empty or the machine is unable to sense the presence of water.

Air trap canister is not pushed and has come out of position. Water tank is empty. Issue with the airtrap itself.

E01

Anomaly loading water into the steam boiler.

A fault has occurred with filling the steam boiler.

Either the coffee pump or the steam pump needs to be primed. Blockage in the hydraulic system.

E02

Coffee boiler will not heat up.

The coffee boiler fails to properly heat up.

Failed element. Failed static relay. Disconnected or broken wire. Tripped high limit, failed PID controller.

E03

Steam boiler will not heat up.

The steam boiler fails to properly heat up.

Failed element. Failed static relay. Disconnected or broken wire. Tripped high limit. Failed PID controller.

E04

Coffee boiler over temperature.

The coffee boiler has exceeded the temperature safeguard.

Faulty PID, static relay, or temperature probe.

A boiler temperature probe short circuit is when the probe is shorted so its always receiving a signal. Possible causes could be the wire or component is grounded out.
